Some of you expressed interest in acquring pigeons at our last training day. The link below will take you to plans for building a pigeon loft which will house 16 adult birds. There are plenty of guys around the state who race homing pigeons. You can find one of these and most will give you their culls. Otherwise you'll have to purchase young birds and condition them to return home. Adult homers typically won't stay at your loft if you release them. They will go home. If you get adults, you'll have to wait and use their offspring in your training program. So, get started now!. It takes birds to make a bird dog.
